Hi there! I’m Jennifer, and I write this blog. My husband James is not only the love of my life, but also the reason I am able to accomplish as much as I do in our home.

We have six beautiful children. Two of them have grown and moved into their first apartments, leaving us with two tweens and two littles so close together in age (9 months apart!) that we call them our “twin”kles.

Right now we are living in a six bedroom home in upstate New York. We’ve all lived in this area for our whole lives and have owned this house for over ten years, but we are planning to head south in the near future.

I have a physical condition that affects my spine and joints, and that sometimes affects our projects and how often I post. My kids like to tease me and call me broken down, but I tell them I’m “brokedown beautiful”. I love my life despite it’s challenges. I love  my home, even though it’s temporary. My love expresses itself through creative projects, cooking and doing whatever I can to make our house a haven. Love always finds a way, doesn’t it?

Friends are always welcome here. Leave me comments, find me on facebook, or send me an email. The day is always better when I finish a chore, sit down with some coffee and chat with a friend. See you soon!

Wow, raising 6 kids whilst having a physical ailment that’s pretty incredible. I have two chronic conditions,no children and I struggle! ‘Brokedown beautiful’ I love that expression!
