You’ve seen the recipes making the rounds on social media, right? The salad of 2016, the BLT pasta salad. Everyone who’s anyone is making it.
I’m totally kidding.
But I made it.
I made it and it was goooooood.
I cooked up some farfalle pasta and let it cool.
Then I diced up three small tomatoes and half of a red onion. I chopped some lettuce and crumbled some bacon. And then I mixed up the dressing, which is just half a cup of ranch dressing and one cup of italian dressing.
I mixed in the tomato, bacon and onion. I chose to keep the lettuce separate so it wouldn’t wilt in the salad if there were leftovers.
I really liked this salad, and will definitely make it again. If you are not a fan of onion, no worries. The tangy dressing gives it plenty of flavor without them.
