There are some nights when putting a hot meal on the table seems like almost too much to deal with, am I right? Or, like in our house tonight, your family is coming home later than usual and you need something that comes together quickly.

The directions for these warm and crusty deli pinwheels are simple.

Grab a tube of refrigerated French or Italian bread dough. Find the seam, peel it apart and unroll the dough on a cookie sheet lined with foil and sprayed with cooking spray.

Cover the bread dough with a layer of ham followed by a layer of turkey. Finish it off with sliced cheese of your choice.

Roll the bread dough back into a loaf, using your fingers to pinch closed the ends and smooth the seam closed. Sprinkle with a bit of shredded parmesan.

Use a sharp knife to cut three or four small slices in the dough to allow steam to escape.

Spray another piece of foil with your cooking spray and drape loosely over the roll.

Bake at 400 degrees for 15-18 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking until bread is browned.

Allow to cool slightly before slicing.

Serve alone or with a salad. Enjoy!
