Christmas is over!
How does that make you feel? Are you feeling let down? Unsure if you “nailed it” like the woman in the Big Lots commercial? Promising yourself that you’ll somehow do better next year?
That’s how I feel every year. It’s so hard to strike a balance between recognizing the birth of Jesus Christ as the reason for the season and acknowledging the secular parts of the holiday that celebrate family, fun, and the spirit of giving too. As someone who does not like to disappoint people, I find Christmas tough. So it’s with a little bit of relief that I say…
It’s time to move on!
Over the next week I want to share my menu plan for the week with you, and I’ll tell you how we’re ringing in the new year family style. Over the course of the month of January I’ll be sharing some fun furniture updates and the completion of our upstairs family room. I also want to start sharing some “what I wore” posts, just because I think they’re fun when I see them on other blogs, and I’m sure I’m not the only bargain hunting 40-something that loves pretty clothes. I know you’ll find something to inspire you.
Thanks for popping in to visit!
