I love fall.
The crisp air in late September and early October is one of the things I will miss when we do move south.
This wreath was made with a simple styrofoam wreath form wrapped in white yarn. I googled leaf template and chose several different shapes that I liked. Then I just cut them out from different colors of felt.
I started at the top on each side, hot gluing leaves on as I went downward. I overlapped each one. At the bottom, I glued on a pumpkin I picked up at Hobby Lobby for 40% off and some berry picks I bought at the same sale. A little bit of jute tied around the top serves as a rustic hanger.
I love the punch of fall color on our dark front door, and I think it’s a festive welcome to our home for friends and family. And the wreath has held up well to wind, rain, and afternoon sun- no melting or colors running!
