No Fail Banana Bread Recipe

banana bread CAH

Hello, friends! I hope your week is off to a good start. I got the chance to cook up a storm this morning, so I’m hoping to share a few new recipes with you this week. Let’s start with this yummy banana bread! This is an older Betty Crocker recipe, and it’s still my favorite of the various recipes I’ve tried.

wet ingredients

I throw all of the wet ingredients directly into my stand mixer, and mix the dry ingredients in a separate bowl. I mix half of the dry ingredients into the wet at a time. Make sure to scrape the bottom of the bowl and mix it a little bit more!

batter

You’ll end up with a slightly lumpy, scrumptious smelling batter.

Although the directions say to bake this in one 9 inch loaf pan, I split it into two and bake them for about 3o minutes and then check them every five minutes. The size is perfect for my taste.
